Sports Podiatry involves assessment and treatment of all foot, ankle and lower leg disorders. Your Podiatrist will look at the biomechanics of the lower leg by gait analysis and alter the lower limb function with the use of corrective orthotics, stretching / strengthening exercises and foot ware recommendations. By correcting foot and ankle biomechanics and realignment, this can have a direct influence in helping foot, ankle, knee and spine and other musculoskeletal problems.
